The Rwandan Ambassador to Ethiopia, Jean Charles Karamba, met with Ethiopian Foreign Minister Ambassador Taye Atske-Selasie to discuss regional issues and how to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries.

During the discussion, it was mentioned that Rwanda has provided a plot of land in Kigali for the construction of the Ethiopian embassy, which serves as an indication of their growing relationship.

The two parties also discussed the further strengthening of the sisterhood between the cities of Addis Ababa and Kigali.

Rwanda and Ethiopia have cooperative relations in sectors including agriculture, trade, education, and others. The two countries usually work closely together, exchanging training and participating in military exercises.

Five years ago, Rwanda and Ethiopia signed a cooperation agreement on air travel services, which immediately opened the doors for their airlines, including RwandAir and Ethiopian Airlines, to share the air without any limitations.
